I am typing this question on my mac using my home wifi network. the internet connection is fine. my iphone 5 running ios 10.0.2, on the other hand, tries ad infinitum to connect to the same network, but displays a "no internet connection" in orange text under the network.. I tried to connect my iphone 5s to the same exact wifi, but i get a message next to the network name saying "no internet connection." there is also an exclamation mark over the wifi symbol.. For a week now i haven't been able to connect my iphone 5 (ios 9.3.1) to the internet over my home wifi. my router is a tp link archer vr200v (firmware version 0.8.0 0.21 v002f.0 build 151105 rel.35502n, it's the latest one.), i think the international name of it is ac750.. Restart your networking devices. if your wifi has no internet in the first place, or if its speed is slow, that’s probably because the networking devices like modem or router needs a restart.. Wifi direct turns the printer into a "wifi hotspot" that connects only to your device via wifi. it does not provide a path to the internet. check the printer to see if wifi direct is turned on..
